Memories and notes
This concert is notable for its unusually varied setlist. It includes the only known performance with vocals of Ant and Bee and the ABC, as well as rare appearances of An Ant, Gloomy News and Aukamacic.
The show also contains the final known performance of Nurses Whispering Verses before its return during the 2003 Special Garage Concerts.
The short interlude heard after Is This the Life? is normally associated with the introduction to To Go Off and Things, but on this occasion it does not lead into that song.
The recording is slightly muffled and contains occasional tape crackle, but remains clear and very listenable overall. According to the venue owner, it was captured using a microphone hanging from the ceiling.
