Memories and notes
This is the earliest known circulating Cardiacs soundboard recording.
The setlist shows that a substantial portion of the material later released on The Seaside had already been written by late 1981, with five of the album's thirteen songs represented here.
The concert is also notable for containing the final known live performance of Lemmings.
The recording is somewhat quiet and the performance is not flawless, but the sound remains clear and highly listenable overall. Lemmings and The Obvious Identity originally circulated together as a single track and were later separated in Audacity.
Cardiacs appeared on the same bill as Dangerous Girls.
