The recording is notable for preserving an alternate instrumental version of Ant and Bee and the ABC, alongside several other rarely performed songs from this period.
Sound quality is poor and distinctly lo-fi, with substantial crackling throughout. According to circulating information, the crackle may have been caused by the fire used to keep warm during the cold winter night.
