Memories and notes
This is the second known circulating Cardiacs soundboard recording.
The concert is especially significant for preserving the only known live performance of A Picture of Misery, as well as the first known live performance of Hello Mr. Sparrow. The rest of the set includes a substantial number of songs later released on The Seaside.
The recording had circulated in MP3 for many years. The original FLAC files were recovered after the original DIME uploader was contacted and supplied the files from the 2005 torrent.
Sound quality is excellent overall, although there is a noticeable amount of tape hiss. Nurses Whispering Verses cuts out before the end.
Cardiacs appeared on the same bill as Here and Now.
