Memories and notes
This is an excellent soundboard recording from the period before the release of A Little Man and a House and before Cardiacs had issued any material on vinyl.
The concert is especially significant for preserving the only known live performance of Victory Egg. It also contains one of the final known performances of Ice a Spot and a Dot on the Dog.
Most of the show comes from a very strong soundboard source. The final three tracks — The Breakfast Line (Pt. 2), Victory Egg and All His Geese Are Swans — come from a separate, lower-quality source, although they remain listenable.
Ice a Spot and a Dot on the Dog fades in, as does The Breakfast Line (Pt. 2). The performance also features a particularly strong version of R.E.S.
