Memories and notes
This Riverside Club recording dates from the period around the release of Big Ship.
The concert is especially notable for preserving very early live versions of two songs that would later appear on On Land and in the Sea: The Duck and Roger the Horse and The Everso Closely Guarded Line.
Recording quality varies considerably across the set. The Everso Closely Guarded Line is comparatively clear, while Is This the Life? sounds substantially rougher. Big Ship cuts out before the end.
