This concert has an unusually adventurous setlist, opening with To Go Off and Things and including several songs that would later appear on On Land and in the Sea.
All His Geese Are Swans is a particular rarity, performed only a handful of times during the 1980s and once again in 2006.
The recording also preserves some of the earliest known live versions of material from On Land and in the Sea. Despite having been performed as early as 1986, The Everso Closely Guarded Line does not appear in this set.
The surviving audience recording is very good, although it is derived from YouTube rather than the original files. One performance of I Hold My Love in My Arms cuts at the end, and Arnald cuts in at the beginning.
