This is the last known recorded Cardiacs concert of 1989.
Club Dog presented The Mad Dogs Revenge at The Fridge, Brixton, with Cardiacs, Ozric Tentacles, The Treatment, The Rythymites and Lights in a Fat City.
Sarah Smith appeared as a guest, having left the band's regular line-up earlier that year. The setlist includes several comparatively rare songs, including All Spectacular, Bic's Bit and The Leader of the Starry Skies. It is also the last known performance of The Whole World Window until the song returned to the live set in 2001.
The circulating audience recording is listenable but only of moderate sound quality.
The Fridge occupied the Town Hall Parade building from 1985 until its closure in 2010. The venue later reopened as Electric Brixton.
